The New England Patriots are in last place of the AFC East. You probably won’t see this again.

The Patriots lost to the Miami Dolphins, snapping a decade-long win streak in season openers. The Dolphins defeated the Patriots 33-20.

The Patriots will look to even up their record when they travel to the Minnesota Vikings on September 14th. The two teams are playing their first game since Halloween of 2010 when the Patriots won 28-18.

New England is 7-4 all-time against the Vikings, including a three-game win streak. The Vikings haven’t beat the Patriots since a 21-13 win on September 17th, 2000 at Foxboro Stadium.

The Vikings last win at home against the Patriots was on October 27th, 1974 when the home team won 17-14 at Metropolitan Stadium.
