The Cleveland Browns are shocking the New Orleans Saints with a 10-0 lead. As the game is in the second quarter, what happened in the first quarter is the most surprising.
Brian Hoyer, who is trying to keep his job away from rookie Johnny Manzeil, connected with Miles Austin on a 3-yard touchdown. It is Austin’s lone catch of the game, and third catch in his Browns career.
He had two receptions for 20 yards last week.
The touchdown reception was Austin’s first since Week 16 of the 2012 season with the Dallas Cowboys. He had 66 receptions for 943 yards and six touchdowns that year.
Austin was held without a touchdown last season. It was the first time since his first two seasons that he did not score a touchdown.
