The Oklahoma City Thunder could have a new starting center this season. According to head coach Scott Brooks, there is an open competition for the position.

As a 29-year-old, Perkins appeared in 62 regular season games with the Thunder. He made 62 starts.
He averaged 3.4 points per game. He also averaged 4.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game.
