“Mario spent the entire 2014 season with the Storm,” Storm’s Vice President of Football Operations Jeff Gooch. “With him, we know we are getting a durable piece for our offensive line. He started in every game last season and has developed into one of the top offensive lineman in the League.

He signed with the Colorado Ice to begin the 2013 season, before signing with the Utah Blaze. He did not play in any games with the now-defunct Utah team.

Henderson was the Oakland Raiders third round pick during the 2007 NFL Draft. He was the 91st overall pick out of Florida State, where he played from 2007 through 2010.

During his tenure with the Raiders, he played in 44 games and made 28 starts. Following a year out of football, the 29-year-old signed with the San Diego Chargers in 2012. He did not play in a single game for the Chargers.
