NASCAR driver Kurt Busch is being investigated for an alleged domestic assault. It is not clear what happened at this time.
According to the Dover, Delaware Police, they were called on Wednesday at 2 pm. In their statement, they say they are still investigating the women’s claims.

What Busch – if true – were doing in Delaware on this day, we don’t know. September was the last time he raced in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Dover International Speedway.

“NASCAR is aware of the investigation involving driver Kurt Busch,” Brett Jewkes, NASCAR Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer, said. “We recognize the seriousness of this matter and are actively gathering information from all parties, including law enforcement authorities and Stewart-Haas Racing. It would be inappropriate for NASCAR to comment further on this matter until we have more information.”
Busch has been dating Patricia Driscoll, so it appears like this is with another woman. But we cannot confirm that at this time. We do not want to speculate on the seriousness of this incident.
The talented race car driver may have been doing promotional work for NASCAR at the time. However, there are only two races left in the NASCAR schedule so who knows?
He could have just been on a vacation in the area.
At this time, we do not know if NASCAR will punish Busch for the Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 on Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway in Avondale, Arizona.

Before this incident, Busch finished eighth at the AAA Texas 500 on Sunday, November 2nd at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.
He does have one win this season. It came in the sixth race of the season at the STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway on March 30th, 2024, in Martinsville, Virginia.
He finished 18th in both Dover races this season.
