The Cleveland Browns will have wide receiver Josh Gordon back for the first time since last season. Gordon served a 10-game suspension, before being activated earlier this week.
Gordon, who was a car salesman during the suspension, will not have a limit when he suits up for the Browns against the Atlanta Falcons in Georgia. There was a report that Gordon may only play in 20-30 snaps today.
But he reportedly showed up in better shape than the team thought he would be in, according to Fox Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer. So, that’s why he could play in more snaps.
He gives quarterback Brian Hoyer another quality receiver, and is expected to be the top wide receiver once he’s fully back.
“We have the full gamut in store for him,” Glazer relayed from Browns head coach Mike Pettine. They’ll check in with Gordon at halftime and see how he feels. “As long as he can deal with the pounding, we are going to run him and run him and run him.”
