Free agents are not allowed to sign contracts with new teams until Tuesday. However, following the news that Ndamukong Suh will be signing with the Miami Dolphins to a massive deal, word has come out on a new deal.
Julius Thomas is expected to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars. According to respected NFL writer Jason Cole, the deal is just about done.

Thomas was not able to sign with the Denver Broncos. Once the Broncos decided to franchise tag wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, it made re-signing Thomas to a new contract tough.

And many would wonder why he would leave a playoff team for a team that hasn’t made the playoffs for years.
He would be a massive upgrade for young, talented quarterback Blake Bortles. However, his production could take a hit since he’s no longer working with legendary Peyton Manning.
This deal is expected to be announced early Tuesday afternoon.
The 26-year-old tight end had 43 receptions for 489 yards in 13 games last season. He’s played in 27 games with 1,277 yards with 24 touchdowns.
His first two years in the league in 2011 and 2012 were busts. He played in eight games and had one reception for five yards.
Wide receiver Allen Hurns led the Jaguars with 677 receiving yards in 2014. He was just one of three players, who surpassed 500 receiving yards.

Cecil Shorts had 557 receiving yards and Allen Robinson had 548 receiving yards.
The Jaguars’ most productive tight end was Clay Harbor, who had 289 yards. Tight end Marcedes Lewis also had 206 receiving yards.
Fellow tight ends Nic Jacobs and Marcel Jensen combined for 24 yards.
