At the moment, it is not clear how long the contract is. Or how long he’s going to make with his new team.
With this move, Bush returns to California for the first time since his collegiate days at the Southern California Trojans.
However, the last time he played for a California, it did not end well for him, as his family took eligible benefits. He lost his Heisman Trophy ceremony, cost his team games, and put the team on probation.
Bush began his career with the New Orleans Saints, before playing the last two years with the Detroit Lions. He’s primarily been a returner and a specialty back, never a power back that can take a lot of carries.
