Professional teams are always giving out promotional items to their fans for free. However, in one Illinois Ross location, they’re trying to make money off of a promotional item.

Whether they know it’s a promotional item, we’re not sure. However, ESPN’s Darren Rovell has confirmed it is a promotional item.

The Illinois location is selling the t-shirt now for $8.99. It was previously listed for $12.99. This report may make the team aware that a promo item is being sold for profit.

The 74-year-old Stephen Ross, who is the owner of the Miami Dolphins, doesn’t own any Ross stores to our knowledge. We know that he’s made millions as a real estate developer.

He has a net worth of $4.8 billion, according to Forbes magazine.
