Santana Moss has received little interest on the open market. Yet, the soon-to-be 36-year-old still wants to play football.
However, his age is against him as he still focuses on another season. He may have to wait until a team has an injury to get the call – if at all.
“I’ve got another year in me,” Moss said. “I’m a free agent right now, you know how they do us old guys.”
Last season, with the Washington Redskins, he had 10 receptions in a 133 snaps. It was the worst season of his career. He had a 116 yards as well.
He’s spent the past 10 seasons with the Skins. The season was his worst since his rookie campaign in 2001 with the New York Jets.
As a rookie, he had two receptions for 40-yards in five games. Both last season and his rookie season were the only times in his career that he did not score a touchdown.
