JaJuan Dawson reported missing in Texas after boating

Former NFL wide receiver JaJuan Dawson is reportedly missing. He was last seen boating in Lake Lavon in Texas.

After being reported missing, emergency crews have been searching for him. However, there hasn’t been much information released at this time about what caused him to go missing.

We’re not going to speculate on what happened to him. The 37-year-old is a Texas native and reportedly went missing yesterday.

The crews were searching for him until 10 pm last night. He was previously a third-round pick by the Cleveland Browns in 2000, a year after the team was re-born in 1999.

He also spent the 2002 season with the Houston Texans. That year within his home state, he had 21 passes for 286 yards.

Dawson played three seasons in the NFL. He played the first two seasons in 2000 and 2001 with the Browns.

He then joined the Texans in 2022.

In his career, he appeared in 30 games. He made four starts.

He started two games during the 2000 season with the Browns. He also made two starts in 2002 with the Texans.

Dawson had 52 receptions for 664 yards and two touchdowns.

His last game in the NFL came on December 29th, 2002. He had two receptions for 13 yards in a 13-3 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

He also started the season finale against the Titans.
