Angels use helicopter to dry field

Yes, California it does rain in the state. For the first time in 20 years, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim had their first rain out.

Their game against the Boston Red Sox were rained out last night due to mother nature. As a result, the teams were expected to play a double header today.

To dry the field, the team used a police helicopter to dry the field faster. With the blades, it was supposed to dry the field in order for the teams to take the field at 2 pm PST.

This is something that you hardly ever seen.

Just to show you how long it has been, the Angels were known as the California Angels at that time. Plus, star outfielder Mike Trout was just three years old.
