Philadelphia Soul dominate VooDoo

Philadelphia – In what is expected to be the final road game for this current New Orleans VooDoo team, the league-owned team lost yet another game. This time around to the American Conference-leading Philadelphia Soul.

The Soul defeated the struggling VooDoo, 61-28, this afternoon at the Wells Fargo Center in front of 10,018 fans. They are a perfect 10-0 at Rothman Field this season.

Dan Raudabaugh went 19 of 28 for 144 yards and five touchdowns. Barely used back up Bryan Randall went 3 of 3 for 31 yards and a touchdown.

VooDoo quarterback Adam Kennedy went 14 of 30 for 120 yards. He threw 4 touchdowns to two interceptions.

Chris Duvalt had seven receptions for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Roger “Spider” Jackson had five for 37 and a touchdown. Charles McClain and Roosevelt Falls had the remaining 23 yards.

Marco Thomas led the Soul with nine receptions for 62 yards and four TD’s. Ryan McDaniel had five for 41 yards and a touchdown.

Shaun Kauleinamoku had three receptions for 18 yards, while Xavier Boyce had two for 28. Offensive Lineman Neal Tivis had two for 12, while fullback Tommy Taggart Jr. had a 14-yard receiving touchdown, while adding 24 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

Philadelphia scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter. New Orleans add their final touchdown with 2:05 left in the game.

Soul kicker Tommy Frevert also missed an XP in the third when the team scored two touchdowns. The VooDoo only put one touchdown on the board.

Both teams would also score two touchdowns. However, Frevert missed the XP, as Philadelphia led 27-14.

The Soul had two touchdowns in the first quarter.
