There are big changes within the UFC right now. President Dana White has announced that Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm will not kick start the beginning of 2016 after all.

While making an appearance on ESPN’s SportsCenter, he announced that the big fight has been pushed up to November 14th in Melbourne, Australia. It will be the 14th in the United States but take place on Nov. 15th in Australia.

Rousey will have two months to prepare for Holm, who is also undefeated. The UFC’s biggest women’s competitor put away Bethe Correia in the first round earlier this month.

As White wrote on Twitter, “Rousey vs. Holm is the main event at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne. We’ll break the all-time attendance record for an MMA event.”

The 33-year-old brings a perfect 9-0 record into the fight with Rousey. That was the same amount that Correia had going into the fight before Rousey made her give up in the first round.

Yet, Correia, even after the loss, was still going after Rousey, but no rematch will happen anytime soon.

Many of the fighters that Rousey has gone up against have given up in the first round. But Holm, who will be making her third UFC appearance in this bout, has gone to the second and third rounds of many of her fights.

Rousey, who is 12-0, and Holm were originally scheduled to take place on January 2nd in Las Vegas.

White elected to go with this match-up compared to one that was originally rumored but never confirmed by him. The rumor was that Rousey was going to fight Meisha Tate again.

The last time they fought in 2013, it went to the third round, which is the longest Rousey has gone in two years.
