Tonight, the Seminoles (6-1) lost on a blocked field goal attempt. After being picked up, the ball was returned for a 78-yard return and the win by Georgia Tech (3-5).
The Yellow Jackets defeated the Seminoles, 22-16, in Atlanta.
Georgia Tech shut out the 9th ranked offense in the second half. They scored three points in the first quarter, then 13-points in the second.
In addition, it is their first win over a ranked FSU team when they were untangled. Previously, they were 0-8.
Plus, it is FSU’s first loss in the last 29 games vs. Atlantic Coast Conference opponents.
