Patriots: Jackson did not suffer a major injury on Thursday night

The New England Patriots have found out that right guard Tre’ Jackson did not sustain a major injury on Thursday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins. Initial fears were that he tore his ACL or MCL; however, that was not the case.

He injured his left knee during the fourth quarter. While it wasn’t very serious, he is dealing with a meniscus issue.

This could sideline him for several weeks. That timetable is not clear at this moment on how long he’ll be out.

The Patriots line is very thin at the moment, and it may force them to go out on the market and find some bodies.

But even when Nate Solder went out with a season-long injury, the team kept from within. With Jackson out, guard Shaq Mason or back-up center Ryan Wendell may have to step up.
