The initial College Football Playoff rankings were released a short time ago. In the Top Four, the Clemson Tigers lead the way.

The Tigers are undefeated and many thought they would be the top team. Following them are the LSU Tigers.

The other team from Death Valley is also undefeated on the season. They have a huge game this Saturday night against the Alabama Crimson Tide in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The defending National Champions Ohio State Buckeyes are third. The Buckeyes have been able to escape by even though they’ve had quarterback problems all season long.

The Crimson Tide are fourth and the showdown in Alabama may eliminate one of these SEC schools.

Notre Dame is on the outside looking in and they barely got past the Temple Owls, 24-20, in South Philadelphia.

Baylor Bears are sixth at the moment, while the Michigan State Spartans are seventh. TCU Horned Frogs are eighth, while the undefeated Iowa Hawkeyes are ninth.

The one-loss Florida Gators are 10th.
