The Dallas Cowboys lost their sixth straight game to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. But they’re still at least one game away from injured quarterback Tony Romo from returning.

Right now, they have to continue with Matt Cassel, at least for the moment. He’ll have to start at least one more week, before Romo gets his job back and a decision is made on who will be made the backup for the rest of the season.

Cassel went 25 of 38 for 299 yards and three touchdowns. He also had an interception by rookie linebacker Jordan Hicks, who returned it for a touchdown.

Cole Beasley caught two touchdowns from Cassel, as he’s come the signal-caller’s favorite target. He was targeted 11 times on the evening.

Dez Bryant caught Cassel’s other touchdown, which came on a heave into the end zone, as Bryant out-jumped the Eagles defenders.

While Cassel has been an upgrade over the past two weeks over Brandon Weeden, he took a lot of sacks in the game.

The Cowboys haven’t won a game since their Week 2 matchup with the Eagles in which they won 20-10. However, that was the last game that Romo played in a game, before they went to Weeden and now Cassel.
