“I’m trying to take it in, but it’s crazy,” Holm said after the fight to UFC announcer Joe Rogan. “I’ve had so much love and support, so why couldn’t I do this? I’ve had the best team.”

This is Rousey’s first loss of her career. She previously had nine wins by arm bar and an additional three by knockout.

Holm’s also the first woman to hold a UFC and a World Boxing Championship.

Holm improved to 10-0, while Rousey went to 12-1. Holm is now the 2nd undisputed Bantamweight champion.

At 2:35 in the first round, Rousey took down Holm. However, the former World Champion Boxer was able to escape easily.

Holm was consistently moving around the ring while showing her boxing skills. Rousey took numerous punches to her lip, it appeared.

It was a big first round for Holm, who took down Rousey with less than a minute left in the 5-minute round. Rousey was exhausted and looked sloppy at times, even as she took numerous blows to the face.

The fight was the longest for Rousey since her fight with Meisha Tate in 2013. That fight went to the third round before Rowdy was able to win.

Tate was considered to be Rousey’s next opponent before Holm was announced. President Dana White originally decided to make this fight in January, before moving it back to this evening.

Holm and Rousey got into it on Friday as White had to separate them. That showed the world that Holm wasn’t scared of the most feared woman’s fighter in the world.
