Our Week 13 NFL Picks come from Matt Flynn and cover both pick ’em and against the spread.
Week 12: Pick ‘Em (10-6), Against the Spread (9-7)
Thursday 8:30 on CBS/NFL-
Green Bay Packers (7-4) @ Detroit Lions (4-7) Line: Packers by 3

Outright Pick: Packers, Line Pick: Packers
-The Packers should cover, even on the road, they have to right the ship, and three points is a slight line for them.
Sunday 1:00 on CBS-
New York Jets (6-5) @ New York Giants (5-6) Line: Jets by 2
Outright Pick: Jets, Line Pick: Jets
-Even with a struggling team, the Jets should have enough to get by the Giants’ porous defense and have enough to stop their New York rival on the other end.
Houston Texans (6-5) @ Buffalo Bills (5-6) Line: Bills by 3
Outright Pick: Texans, Line Pick: Texans
-This is a TOUGH game to choose, but I like Houston on the road with a defense that has been top notch lately. I think it will be enough to get by against inconsistent Buffalo.
Baltimore Ravens (4-7) @ Miami Dolphins (4-7) Line: Dolphins by 4
Outright Pick: Ravens, Line Pick: Ravens
-The Dolphins have all but given up on their season, and I just don’t buy them being four-point favorites against a Baltimore team that keeps games close. I’ll take Baltimore.
Jacksonville Jaguars (4-7) @ Tennessee Titans (2-9) Line: Titans by 2.5
Outright Pick: Titans, Line Pick: Titans
-I’ll give the struggling Titans a semi-convincing home win here against a Jacksonville team down a few offensive weapons. Last week let the wind out of the Jaguars’ sails, and now Tennessee can bury them.
Sunday 1:00 on FOX:
Arizona Cardinals (9-2) @ St. Louis Rams (4-7) Line: Cardinals by 6
Outright Pick: Cardinals, Line Pick: Cardinals
-Bet on the Cardinals, the Rams really stink offensively right now, and I could see this game looking something along the lines of 21-6 or close to that. Six points is easy.
Atlanta Falcons (6-5) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-6) Line: Bucs by 1.5
Outright Pick: Bucs, Line Pick: Bucs
-Vegas always knows something, especially in a funky game like this, where Atlanta has really struggled lately. It just seems to be an important divisional game for Tampa, and they should get it done at home.
Seattle Seahawks (6-5) @ Minnesota Vikings (8-3) Line: NONE, Pick’Em
Outright Pick: Vikings
-Every time Seattle gets a little closer to salvaging their season, they have to go play a relentlessly tough opponent. I think Minnesota gets a win here.
Cincinnati Bengals (9-2) @ Cleveland Browns (2-9) Line: Bengals by 9.5
Outright Pick: Bengals, Line Pick: Bengals
-Even 9.5 isn’t enough to stop me from taking Cincy here, the Browns suck.
San Francisco 49ers (3-8) @ Chicago Bears (5-6) Line: Bears by 7
Outright Pick: Bears, Line Pick: 49ers
-Considering the Niners played Arizona tough last week, I have a hard time laying 7 points for the Bears, even if they’ve been playing well lately. I don’t like betting this game at all.
Sunday 4:00 on CBS (First 2) and FOX (Second 2):
Denver Broncos (9-2) @ San Diego Chargers (3-8) Line: Broncos by 4
Outright Pick: Broncos, Line Pick: Broncos
-I know San Diego played well last week, but the Broncos are coming off of a Patriot win and need only get 4 points against the Chargers? I’ll take Denver.
Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) @ Oakland Raiders (5-6) Line: Chiefs by 3
Outright Pick: Chiefs, Line Pick: Chiefs
-Kansas City is red hot, and shouldn’t slow down against Oakland, who have improved, but are still nothing more than mediocre.
Carolina Panthers (11-0) @ New Orleans Saints (4-7) Line: Panthers by 7
Outright Pick: Panthers, Line Pick: Panthers
-This is a no-brainer, even to lay 7 points, the Panthers are too good to struggle against the awful Saints.
Philadelphia Eagles (4-7) @ New England Patriots (10-1) Line: Patriots by 9.5
Outright Pick: Patriots, Line Pick: Eagles
-The Patriots will win, and probably win by a touchdown, but the Eagles have their pride at stake, and will lose, but not by 10.
Sunday 8:30 on NBC:
Indianapolis Colts (6-5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) Line: Steelers by 7
Outright Pick: Steelers, Line Pick: Colts
-I think the Steelers at home deserve a win here, but the Colts will keep it close, this should be an excellent night game with plenty of consequences for the loser.
Monday 8:30 on ESPN:
Dallas Cowboys (3-8) @ Washington Redskins (5-6) Line: Redskins by 4.5
Outright Pick: Redskins, Line Pick: Redskins
-Dallas is nothing without Tony Romo, and Redskins are fighting for a playoff berth.
Those are our Week 13 NFL Picks, let us know what you think!
