The Indiana Hoosiers (6-6) and the Duke Blue Devils (7-5) will face off in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. They’ll kick off at 3:30 PM on ABC from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY.

This is normally a match-up you’ll see on the hardwood between Tom Crean’s team and Mike Kryzewski’s team. However, they’ll play this one on the baseball field turned football stadium at the stadium.

The Hoosiers will defeat the Blue Devils, 49-31, according to our simulation.

The Blue Devils led with 30:56 in time of possession compared to the Hoosiers 29:04. The Hoosiers had 495 total yards, while the Blue Devils had just 397.

Indiana’s Nate Sudfeld went 19 of 29 for 332 yards and five touchdowns. His counterpart, Duke’s Thomas Sirk went 22 of 31 for 205 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

Duke was led in rushing by Shaquille Powell, who had 87-yards and two touchdowns. Sick added 59-yards, while Shaun Wilson and Jela Duncan had 23-yards each.

T.J. Rahming had 60 receiving yards and a touchdown. Max McCaffrey, the brother of Stanford’s Heisman Trophy finalist Christian McCaffrey, had 49-yards. Braxton Deaver had 34-yards, while Anthony Nash had 24-yards. Wilson had 22-yards and Powell added 17-yards.

The Hoosiers were led in rushing by Jordan Howard, who had 146 yards and two touchdowns. Devine Redding added 15-yards, while Mike Majorette added two-yards.

Simmie Cobbs had 93 receiving yards with two touchdowns. Michael Cooper added 58-yards, while Andre Booker had 53-yards. Mitchell Paige had 47-yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Howard contributed 44-yards and Ricky Jones had 26-yards. Redding added 11-yards.

The Blue Devils scored the final two touchdowns in the game. Nash caught a four-yard touchdown reception from Sirk. Three minutes later with 51 seconds remaining in the game, Powell had a two-yard run to finish with a 49-31 score.

Hoosiers’ Page caught a 14-yard touchdown reception from Sudfeld to begin the fourth. Cobbs had a 26-yard touchdown reception to end the third quarter.

Rahming caught a four-yard touchdown reception with 6:26 left in the third as the score increased to 35-17.

Howard had a 68-yard run with 11:54 in the third as the Hoosiers increased the team to 35-10.

Powell had a 44-yard run to end the first half with 31 seconds left.

The Hoosiers had four first half touchdowns. Redding and Cobbs caught second quarter touchdown receptions.

Paige added an eight-yard touchdown pass in the first, while his teammate Howard scored on an eight-yard run.

Blue Devils kicker Ross Martin scored on a 25-yard field goal with 4:38 to cut the lead to 14-3.
