Last night, the NFL held its Media Night in San Jose. The incident with Murphy reportedly happened after Media Night.
While he wasn’t arrested, his brother was cited. The multi-agency sting is to help try to crack down on prostitution.
It’ll be interesting to see what the Broncos do here. They could continue to let him be apart of the team and the rest of the Super Bowl festivities, or send him home.
The Broncos likely do not want any distractions before their Super Bowl 50 matchup with the Panthers at Levi Stadium on Sunday evening. Gary Kubiak, head coach, and John Elway, general manager, were around when Eugene Robinson, previously of the Atlanta Falcons, was arrested for prostitution leading up to the Super Bowl years ago.
The Broncos were the team, who defeated the Falcons, in the Super Bowl in question. The Falcons had to deal with all those distractions after Robinson’s arrest.
