There’s no doubt that Dada 5000 (Dhafir Harris) and Kimbo Slice (Kevin Ferguson) do not like each other. Before their fight next Friday at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, Bellator MMA will be heightening its security for the big fight for the co-main event.
Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie — two Hall of Fame MMA fighters — will headline the event.

Scott Coker, the Bellator president, said that there will be more security, according to MMAfighting.com. Coker told the website that each fighter is in separate hotels and there will be extra security for the press conferences and workouts.

The game plan is to keep Kevin Ferguson and Dhafir Harris away from each other before the fight. It wouldn’t be surprising if this fight ended in a knockout.
Slice is the more experienced fighter who knocked out Shamrock in their fight last night. Those two had their battles, as well, but following the fight, Shamrock respected the former bare-knuckle fighter.
At one point, Shamrock had the advantage in the fight. That was before he slipped up and Slice knocked him out.
“We’re going to have good security there because we don’t need any fight before the fight,” he told MMAfighting.com. “Or any crews fighting before the fight. We’re already on it.”
These two fighters have had beef with each other since they were fighting in Miami, Florida. At one time, Dada 5000 was a member of Slice’s crew, before the sides had a falling out with each other.
“I am going to f— this n—— up,” Slice told MMA Fighting back in November. “Don’t get me wrong, I’m open to all possibilities in an MMA fight including submissions and anything else that comes up. But the true fight fans appreciate a real fight, and this is two n—— from the same neighborhood who have a beef to settle. I’m going to knock his ass out and he’s going to wake up and not know what hit him.”
Ferguson is adamant that Dada 5000 stole many things that he’s famous for, including his beard and tattoos. He even says that Dada 5000 tried to capitalize off of Slice’s fame.
Slice says that Dada 5000 has the same tattoos as him. The only difference is that Dada 5000 has a different hairstyle, while Ferguson is bald.
“I think he’s taken too many hits to the head,” Dada told MMA Fighting recently. “I’m marketable. I’m my own person. How could I capitalize on his fame? I’ll give him credit. He did some awesome things inside the backyard. He inspired me to get into the game. But I got the ball, and I ran…the opposite way. To the point that my key fights — 15 total in boxing and MMA — and we’re standing on the same stage now.”
Coker says that Bellator MMA will talk to the Houston Police Department to ensure that nothing will happen between these two fighters, who do not like each other. In November, according to MMAfighting.com, Will Brooks had a run-in with Patricio Freire and his brother Patricky Freire, which got physical at the host hotel, which led to the St. Louis Police Department being called.
“Believe me, it’s something we’ve already planned out,” Coker said. “I feel confident we’ll be fine. We’re gonna have the police hang around, so they know that it’s a serious situation. If anyone wants to act up, you might go to jail.”

Slice won a first-round fight over Shamrock in June at Bellator 138. This was his first fight since May 2010 when he lost to Matt Mitrione at UFC 113. He was TKO’ed by punches in the second round.
This is only Dada 5000’s third fight. It’s also his first major fight, but it’ll be his first fight since February 2011. In one year, he defeated Cedric James and Tim Papp, who are not well-known MMA fighters.
