Royce Gracie has defeated Ken Shamrock in the first round at Bellator 149. Shamrock was not pleased with the ending.
Gracie ended the fight with strikes, but Shamrock thought he got hit in the groin. He was displeased and yelled at the referee and said he did it on purpose after the fight at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

“I’m a fighter and I’m here to fight,” Gracie said. “We’ve been fighting from the beginning.”

Shamrock has dropped his second straight fight in Bellator, as he lost to Kimbo Slice in June 2015 in the first round by a knockout. This fight also ended in the first round, as well.
Gracie, who defeated Shamrock in the first UFC pay-per-view fight, improved to 15-2-3 in his career. Shamrock drops to 28-17-2 – and it’s the first knockout win of Gracie’s career.
The left knee showed a straight shot to the groin – which wasn’t clear on the second camera view. But, the referee may not have seen it, which is why the fight continued. The announcers said it’s the referee, who has to see it, to call it.
“I’m disappointed,” Shamrock said. “I was disappointed and I got upset. I wanted this.”
This fight ended in controversy, as it did in their first fight. Gracie defeated Shamrock in their first fight, as “The Most Dangerous Man” complained about a shoe problem.
