Last night, Shane McMahon made a shocking return to Monday Night Raw. McMahon — who reportedly struck a deal with the company weeks ago — has one shot to gain control of Monday Night Raw and the entire company.
His father and chairman Vince McMahon said that he’ll have one stop to gain the control that he wants. The older McMahon said that his son will face The Undertaker at WrestleMania from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Only Brock Lesnar has been able to defeat the deadman, which came at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Now, Taker will appear live on Raw for the first time this year. WWE.com has confirmed that he will be there.
This will be his historic 24th match at the biggest event of the year. It’ll be interesting to see what The Deadman has to say.
McMahon and Taker will face each other in a Hell in a Cell match. If Shane wins, he gets control. If he loses, Mr. McMahon keeps control with The Authority in control.
With The Authority in control, Shane says its control to go into the ground, especially with so many wrestlers missing significant time with injuries. But Shane isn’t going to go into the match without a plan, especially since it’s a no disqualification match.
