Lions draft T Taylor Decker with the 16th overall pick

The Detroit Lions have selected tackle Taylor Decker to help protect quarterback Matthew Stafford with the 16th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Decker joins the league from the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He’s the fourth Ohio State player to be drafted so far. He joins Joey Bosa, who went to the San Diego Chargers with the third pick. Ezekiel Elliott went the next pick to the Dallas Cowboys.

Then, with the 10th pick, the New York Giants took Eli Apple.
