Cyborg Justino defeats Leslie Smith in 81 seconds

Chris “Cyborg” Justino has defeated Leslie Smith by TKO at UFC 198 81-seconds into the fight. Smith was not pleased with the ending and even cursed out fans.

Justino made her UFC debut in her hometown in Brazil. She has finished her last 10 fights.

Cyborg is 16-1 in her career, while Smith dropped to 8-7-1. Justino lost her first career MMA fight with Erica Paes at SF – Showfight 2 in May 2005 by submission, but hasn’t lost since.

“This is a dream come true to have my first fight here,” Justino said. “I also want to thank Leslie for coming here.”

Justino ended the fight with Smith before two minutes in the first round. She hit Smith with a left hook followed by numerous right hands.

Smith ate a couple of punches, before the fight was finished. She hit Smith with 21 out of 32 attempted strikes.

While this is Justino’s first UFC fight, Justino is the Invicta’s Fighting Championships, an all-women company, where she’s the champion. She’s been the champion since

“I want to fight in the UFC, but I’m also the Invicta Champion,” Justino said. “So, I’m going to fight in both right now.”

She made no mention to Ronda Rousey, who fans have been hoping for a dream fight for quite some time. However, UFC president Dana White may not be willing to give her that chance right now since she’s still young in the company and Rousey is out until Nov. or Dec.

The 33-year-old Smith has lost five fights since April 2013. She also lost back-to-back fights in Dec. 2013 and April 2014 to Barb Hanchak and Sarah Kaufman, respectively.

Her last win came again Ron Kakai in March 2016 with a unanimous decision.

The 30-year-old Brazilian has only had one fight in her past six that has gone out of the first-round. In her win against Marloes Coenen, she won via TKO (punches and elbows) in the fourth-round.
