According to ABC News’ Matt Gutman, it doesn’t look good for American swimmer Ryan Lochte. Gutman is now reporting that there was a fight with a security guard in a restroom at a gas station, but the Brazilian sources don’t indicate which one it was.

The Brazilian authorities also reportedly have a video showing the incident, according to Gutman. Gutman also reported that Lochte and his American teammates were so drunk that they fabricated the story to cover up what exactly happened.

Lochte and his teammates could receive three-years in a Brazilian jail for reporting a false story. On Wednesday’s Today show, Lochte gave inconsistencies to Matt Lauer on NBC — which set this ball going downhill.

His three other American swimmers could also possibly face charges over there as well. These are the only ones who are still in Brazil, as Lochte is already back in the States.

Also, above the bunch, Lochte is the highest-profile athlete of the four. He also competed in two events at the Rio Games and won a medal in one of the events.

He says that he was robbed at gunpoint by an individual who was allegedly dressed as police and had weapons. Because of his allegations, security around the Olympic Village tightened.

They were partying with a Brazilian swimmer and were returning when this incident happened. Almost immediately, there were questions if this really happened — and on Wednesday, it was reported that the authorities couldn’t find any evidence of Lochte’s claims.

Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger were pulled off of their planes back to the States at the Brazilian airport. They were held in a room at the airport — where they reportedly said nothing before being released early Thursday morning after they agreed to speak with them later in the day.

It looks like we’ll be finding a lot more about this lie that’s blown out of control.
