Chris Ivory will have to wait to make his Jacksonville Jaguars debut. Ivory signed with the team in the off-season after playing with the New York Jets last season.
According to Jaguars publicist Tad Dickman, Ivory was admitted to a local hospital this morning with what is being called a “general medical” issue. As a result, he’ll miss today’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
ESPN’s Jeff Darlington is reporting that the issue is unrelated to his calf. T. J. Yeldon is expected to be the team’s featured back.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, his availability will be evaluated later this week. His Week 2 availability will hinge on it, Rapoport says.
