Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin’s BMW was involved in a police chase in California, according to TMZ Sports. Austin was at practice on Wednesday and wasn’t the driver.
His longtime friend Dominic Makell was driving Austin’s expensive BMW. Makell didn’t pull over when the cops tried to pull him over. It’s unclear why they attempted to pull him over.
After the chase, the car came to a stop and Makell was arrested. He was charged with evading an officer and willful disregard.
He was put in jail with $50,000 bond. Austin is also listed as the car owner on the police report.
