College football teams have to fly to their games the majority of the time. However, for one Kennesaw State football player, he flew for the first-time recently.
Kennesaw State had to fly from Georgia, where their campus is located, to play the Duquesne Dukes for their game in Pittsburgh, PA. According to responses to an original tweet, Keagan Jordan was flying for the first-time.
Jordan was so scared that he passed out on the flight, according to his teammates. He is a redshirt freshman — who did not play last season.
After looking out the window, he said please make it. Then, his teammates made fun of him for passing out.
The tweet was posted by redshirt senior quarterback Trey White. The Citadel transfer has done a lot of flying in his collegiate career.
The Owls are 1-1 while the Dukes are 2-1. Their game will be on ESPN3 at 1 pm at Rooney Field.
This is the Owls first road game of the season after playing their first two games at Fifth Third Bank Stadium before having a bye last week. They lost to East Tennessee State 20-17, before defeating Point 49-3 on Sept. 10.
If Jordan thinks that’s bad to fly to Pittsburgh, just wait until he has to fly to New Jersey for their Oct. 29 game at 1 pm against Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ.
