According to media reports, wide receiver Josh Gordon has played his final snap with the Cleveland Browns. It’s unclear if he’ll ever play in the National Football League again.
Gordon said earlier Thursday that he would enter into an in-patient rehabilitation facility. He was eligible to return to the Browns in Week 5 after serving a four-game suspension for substance abuse.
He hasn’t played in an NFL game since the 2014 season. Gordon played in five games, all starts, where he had 24 receptions for 303 yards.
He didn’t play during the 2015 season because of a year-long suspension.
