The Green Bay Packers defeated the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football at Lambeau Field. The Packers won 26-10 over the Bears.

The Bears suffered bad news in the contest, as starting quarterback Brian Hoyer suffered a broken arm. His back-up Matt Barkley struggled after coming in.

Hoyer is the second Bears quarterback to be injured, as Jay Cutler is also on the sidelines with a hand injury. They’ll likely have to sign a signal-caller before their next game because Cutler may not be available.

Barkley went six of 15 for 81 yards with two interceptions. Hoyer went four of 11 for 49 yards.

The Packers were also handicapped as Knole Davis was the team’s only healthy running back. However, he had just arrived in Green Bay on Tuesday after being traded to the team on Monday.

The Kansas City Chiefs traded the back to the Packers for a conditional pick. The Packers are depleted at the position with Eddie Lacy and James Starks out.

Davis had just two carries in the game for a hard. He’ll likely be the team’s starting running back once they return from this mini bye week.

Wide receiver Ty Montgomery led the Packers with nine carries for 90 yards. He was also one of three receivers to have 10 or more receptions.

Davanté Adams had 13 receptions for 132 yards and two touchdowns. Randall Cobb also had a touchdown, while having 11 receptions for 95 yards.

Montgomery had 10 receptions for 66 yards. They’re the second team in NFL history to do this since the New England Patriots on on November 13, 1994.

The Packers took a 26-10 lead when Cobb caught a two-yard touchdown from Aaron Rodgers, who passed for his first 300 passing game of the season. He went 39 of 56 for 326 yards and three touchdowns.

There have been concern with Rodgers since last year when people felt he wasn’t himself. However, playing against the Bears could only help get him back on track.

It was his first 300-passing game since November 15, 2015. He had 333 yards in a 18-16 yard loss to the Detroit Lions.

Adams gave the Packers a 20-10 lead with 14:55 left in the game when he caught a four-yard touchdown. Adams also had a five yard touchdown reception at 9:11 in the third.

Leonard Floyd sacked Rodgers for a 14-yard loss at 14:30 in the third quarter. Rodgers fumbled the ball at the one-yard line, before Floyd recovered the fumble for a touchdown.

Mason Crosby had two first half field goals. Connor Barth also had a 39-yard field goal for the Bears.
