New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith was injured in Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Smith injured his right knee.
With Smith injured, head coach Todd Bowles put Ryan Fitzpatrick back in. Fitzpatrick was benched this week after struggling.
Before Smith was injured, he hit Quincy Enunwa for a 69-yard touchdown. The Ravens presently lead the Jets 13-7 in the second quarter.
Smith was 4 of 8 for 96 yards and a touchdown before the knee injury.
The former West Virginia quarterback started 29 games during his tenure with the Jets. This was his first start since December 28, 2014 against the Miami Dolphins.
