The Columbus Blue Jackets set a new record on Friday night. They scored 10 goals against the Montreal Canadiens.

The Blue Jackets took 40 shots compared to the Canadiens 30 shots at the Nationwide Arena. Four players accounted for eight goals, while Seth Jones and David Savard had a goal each.
Josh Anderson, Cam Atkinson, Nick Foligno and Scott Hartnell had two goals each.
Hartnell and Anderson each had goals in the third quarter. The Blue Jackets had five goals in the second quarter, including to by Foligno.
Atkinson, Jones and Savard got the game started with a 3-0 lead.
Canadians goalie Al Montoya allowed all 10 goals in 60 minutes. He also made 30 saves.
Sergei Bobrovsky made 30 saves for the Blue Jackets.
