Simulation: Gordon III scores game-winning TD in overtime

According to our whatifsports.com simulation, the San Diego Chargers defeated the Tennessee Titans. The Chargers won 30-24 at Qualcomm Stadium in overtime.

The Titans had 341 total yards in 24 minutes and 01 seconds in time of possession. The Chargers had 439 total yards in 44 minutes and 19 seconds.

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers went 23 of 33 for 266 yards. He had a touchdown and an interception.

Melvin Gordon III had 28 carries for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Kenneth Farrow had 10 carries for 76 yards and a touchdown. Andre Williams had six carries for three yards. Derek Watt had three carries for three yards. Rivers had one carry for -1 yard.

Travis Benjamin had six receptions for 89 yards. Tyrell Williams had four receptions for 53 yards. Antonio Gates had five receptions for 53 yards, while Dontrelle Inman had five receptions for 44 yards.

Griff Whalen had a 14 yard reception. Gordon had a 10 yard reception and Sean McGrath had a three yard reception.

Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota went 16 of 22 for 230 yards. He had two touchdowns.

Antonio Andrews had 15 carries for 91 yards. Derrick Henry had 12 carries for 28 yards and Mariota had two carries for four yards. Jalston Fowler had two carries for zero yards.

Henry had two receptions for 81 yards, while Delanie Walker had four receptions for 48 yards. Kendall Wright had four receptions for 37 yards. Tajae Sharpe had two receptions for 36 yards and a touchdown.

Fowler had two receptions for 19 yards. Rishard Matthews had two receptions for nine yards and a touchdown.

Antwaun Woods and Valentino Blake had six tackles each for the Titans. DaQuan Jones and Nate Palmer had five tackles each. Sean Spence and Brian Orakpo had four tackles each. Angelo Blackson had a sack and Cody Riggs had an interception.

Dwight Lowery had six tackles for the Chargers. Tourek Williams had four tackles and a sack, while Melvin Ingram and Darrell Stuckey had three tackles each. Joshua Perry also had a sack.

Gordon III scored the game-winning five-yard touchdown in overt-ime.

The Chargers took a 24-14 lead in the third when Gordon III scored a touchdown. Josh Lambo made a 22 yard field goal.

The Titans tied the game at 24 all with nine seconds left when Ryan Succop made a 31 yard field goal. Matthews also caught a three yard touchdown in the fourth.

The game was tied 14 all at halftime. Farrow and McGrath scored touchdowns for San Diego.

Henry and Sharpe had touchdowns for the Titans.
