Preview: #18 Western Michigan @ Kent State

On Tuesday night, No. 18 Western Michigan faces Kent State. The Broncos come into this game with a 9-0 mark, while the Golden Flashes have a 3-6 mark.

The Broncos are a perfect 5-0 on the road this season. The Golden Flashes are 1-3 at home at Dix Stadium.

Kent State has won the past two meetings in this series. However, they haven’t faced each other since Sept. 28, 2013.

Western Michigan hasn’t won in this series since Nov. 20, 2010 when they won 38-3.

In the past 10 meetings, the Broncos won seven times. Besides the Sept. 28, 2013 (32-14) and the Oct. 20, 2012 (41-24) wins, one has to go back to Oct. 31, 2009 for the other win, which was a 26-14 score.

The Broncos have won 11 straight games. They haven’t lost since being defeated by the Northern Illinois Huskies (27-19) on Nov. 18, 2015.

The Golden Flashes come into this game with a one-game win streak. They defeated the Central Michigan Chippewas last week.

They haven’t lost since being defeated by the Bobcats on Oct. 22 when they lost 14-10.

The Broncos are averaging 45.2 points per game. The Golden Flashes are averaging 22 points per contest.

Western Michigan is averaging 506.7 yards, while Kent State is averaging 307.8. There are no defensive stats, according to ESPN.

Zach Terrell leads the Broncos with 2,362 yards with 23 touchdowns and an interception.

Jarvion Franklin has 1,018 yards and nine touchdowns. Corey Davis has 1,011 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Nick Holley leads the Cardinals with has 668 passing yards. He has three touchdowns and two interceptions.

He also leads the rushing game with 775 yards and nine touchdowns. Justin Rankin has 301 receiving yards and a touchdown.
