Preview: Eastern Michigan @ Ball State

On Tuesday night, the Eastern Michigan Eagles face the Ball State Cardinals. The Eagles come into this game with a 5-4 record, while the Cardinals are 4-5.

The Eagles are 3-2 on the road this season, while the Cardinals are 1-3 at home at Scheumann Stadium.

Ball State has won the past five meetings in this series. Eastern Michigan hasn’t won since a 41-38 win on Oct. 16, 2010.

In the past 10 games, Ball State won nine games. The Oct. 2010 win is their only win in this stretch.

The Eagles have lost the past two games. They were defeated by the Miami (Ohio) Redhawks and Western Michigan.

They haven’t won a game since a 27-20 win over the Ohio Bobcats on Oct. 15, 2016.

The Cardinals also come into this game with a two-game losing streak. They were also defeated by Western Michigan and Akron.

Ball State hasn’t won since a 31-21 win over the Buffalo Bulls on Oct. 15, 2016.

The Eagles are averaging 29.7 points, while the Cardinals are averaging 27.1

The Eagles are averaging 423.6 total yards, while the Cardinals are giving up 452.8. Ball State is averaging 452.8 yards and Eastern Michigan is giving 423.4.

Brogan Roback leads the Eagles attack with 1,387 yards. He has 10 touchdowns and three interceptions.

Ian Eriksen has 461 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Sergio Bailey II has 614 yards and three touchdowns.

Riley Neal leads the Cardinals attack with 1,700 yards. He has seven touchdowns and nine interceptions.

James Gilbert has 1,142 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. Kevonn Mabon has 645 yards.
