Preview: Atlanta @ Philadelphia

On Sunday afternoon, the Atlanta Falcons face the Philadelphia Eagles. The Falcons are 6-3, while the Eagles are 4-4.

The Falcons are 4-1 on the road this season. The Eagles are 3-0 at Lincoln Financial Field.

Atlanta has won the past three games in this series. They’ve outscored the Eagles 91 to 72.

The Eagles haven’t beaten the Falcons since Oct. 17, 2010. In this game, Philadelphia won 31-17.

In the past 10 games in this series, the Eagles have won six games. Besides the past three game wins for the Falcons, they also won 14-10 over Philadelphia on Sept. 12, 2005.

Atlanta is on a two-game win streak. They defeated the Green Bay Packers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in these games.

The Falcons haven’t lost since they were defeated 33-30 by the San Diego Chargers on Oct. 23.

Philadelphia is on a two-game losing streak. They were defeated by the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.

The Eagles haven’t won a game since Oct. 23 when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings 21-10.

The Falcons are scoring 33.9 points per game. The Eagles are averaging 25.3.

Atlanta is averaging 445.3 yards per game. They’re giving up 395.6.

Philadelphia is averaging 344 yards per game. They’re giving up 343.8.

Matt Ryan leads the Falcons attack with 2,980 yards. He has 23 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Devonta Freeman has 620 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Julio Jones has 970 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Carson Wentz leads the Eagles with 1,890 yards. He has nine touchdowns and five interceptions.

Ryan Mathews has 287 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Jordan Matthews has 507 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
