On Thursday night, the New Orleans Saints face the Carolina Panthers. The Saints come into the game with a 4-5 record, while the Panthers are 3-6.

The Saints are 2-2 on the road this season. The Panthers are 2-3 at Bank of America Stadium.

New Orleans won the previous meeting on Oct. 16, 2016 41-38. Before that, the Panthers had won three straight. During that time, Carolina outscored them 109-70.

The past two meetings have ended with a 41-38 score — with the Saints and the Panthers winning one

In the past 10 meetings, the Panthers have won six times. Besides three straight from Dec. 7, 2014 through Dec. 6, 2015, they also won 17-13 on Dec. 22, 2013, 44-38 on Dec. 30, 2012 and 35-27 on Sept. 16, 2012.

When the Saints won in Oct, it was their first win in the series since Oct. 30, 2014 when they won 28-10. They also won 31-13 on Dec. 8, 2013 and 45-17 on Jan. 1, 2012.

The Saints lost their last game 25-23 to the Denver Broncos on Nov. 13. Before that they were on a two-game win streak, where they defeated the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 30 and Nov. 6.

The Panthers are also on a one-game losing streak, as they fell 20-17 to the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday. Prior to that, they were also on a two-game win streak, as they defeated the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 30 and the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 6.

The Saints are giving up 29.4 points per game. The Panthers are scoring 24.6.

New Orleans is averaging 437.4 yards per game. They’re giving up 411.9.

Carolina is averaging 385.8 yards per contest. They’re giving up 369.7.

Drew Brees leads the Saints attack with 2,992 yards. He has 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Mark Ingram has 547 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Brandin Cooks has 694 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

Cam Newton leads the Panthers attack with 1,994 yards. He has 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Jonathan Stewart has 334 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Greg Olsen has 712 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
