Preview: Bryant @ #14 Gonzaga

On Friday evening, the Bryant Bulldogs face #14 Gonzaga Bulldogs. One Bulldogs team is 1-1, while the other is 2-0.

The Northeast team has a win at home, but then lost on the road. The ranked Bulldogs are 2-0 at McCarthey Athletic Center.

This is the second meeting between the two teams. Gonzaga won 100-76 on Nov. 9, 2013.

Bryant is coming off a win over Division III Salve Regina Seahawks 88-61. They lost 89-64 to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to begin the season.

In their past 10 games dating back to last season, the Bulldogs only have two wins. Their other win came on Feb. 27 when they defeated LIU Brooklyn Blackbirds 88-83.

Gonzaga defeated the Utah Valley Wolverines 92-69 to begin the season. They then defeated the San Diego State Aztecs 69-48.

In their past 10 games, they only have one loss, including last season. They lost 63-60 to the Syracuse Orange in the NCAA March Madness Tournament.

Bryant is averaging 76 points per game, while Gonzaga is averaging 80.5.

Sebastian Townes leads the Bulldogs with 16 points per game. Dan Garvin is averaging 12 rebounds and Ikenna Ndugba is averaging 4.5 assists.

Jordan Mathews leads the Bulldogs with 16.5 points per game. Killian Tillie is averaging 9.5 rebounds and Nigel Williams-Goss is averaging 4.5 assists.
