Preview: Siena @ #8 Kansas

On Friday night, the Siena Saints face #8 Kansas Jayhawks. Both teams come into this game with a 1-1 record.

The Saints have won a game at home, but lost another on the road. The Jayhawks are 1-1 at a neutral site game. This game is a part of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic and will be broadcasted on ESPN3 at 8 pm EST at the Allen Fieldhouse.

This is the second game in the series. Kansas won the previous meeting 91-84 on Jan. 6, 2009.

The Saints lost their last game 77-75 to the George Washington Colonials. They defeated the Cornell Big Red 89-78 on Nov. 13 to begin the season.

In their past 10 games, they have five wins and five losses going back to last season.

Kansas defeated the #1 Duke Blue Devils on Tuesday night in New York City. They won 77-75.

They lost 103-99 in overtime to the Indiana Hoosiers to begin the season.

In their past 10 games, they won eight games dating back to last season. Besides the Indiana loss, they also lost 64-59 on March 26 to the Villanova Wildcats in the NCAA March Madness Tournament.

Siena is averaging 82 points, while Kansas is averaging 88 points per game.

Marquis Wright leads the Saints with 26 points. Brett Bisping is averaging 10.5 rebounds and Wright is also averaging 4.5 assists.

Frank Mason III leads the Jayhawks with 25.5 points. Udoka Azubuiké is averaging 7 rebounds and Mason III is averaging 7 assists.
