Lee Corso has picked the Western Michigan Broncos as his Headgear selection on Saturday afternoon in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Broncos face the Buffalo Bulls.
This was the first-time that College GameDay was at Western Michigan. Was there any doubt in his selection? Probably not.
Western Michigan is the 21st ranked team in the country and they’re a perfect 10-0 on the season. The Bulls are 2-8.
While the Broncos have a better record, the Bulls have won the past two meetings in this series. They outscored Western Michigan 62-to-24. Buffalo won 33-0 last season.
One has to go all the way back to Oct. 24, 2009 for the last time the Broncos won. They won that game 34-31, which was also in Kalamazoo.
The Bulls haven’t won a game since Oct. 27 when they won 41-20 over the Akron Zips.
