The Los Angeles Rams have released corner back Troy Hill. This comes after he was busted over the weekend for a DUI.
TMZ Sports broke the story as the 25-year-old was arrested on Saturday. He crashed into a semi-truck at approx. 8 am — which led to his arrest.
He was inactive in the team’s game on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. He previously played in nine of the team’s 10 games to begin the season, including four starts.
He had four tackles and a pass deflection against the New York Jets in Week 10. In nine games, he had 38 tackles with two pass deflections.
Hill came to the team after spending time with the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots. He played in three games with the Bengals.
He was an undrafted free agent in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played collegiate football at Oregon.
Besides Hill, the Rams also released corner back Dwayne Gratz. They also placed linebacker Josh Forrest on injured reserve.
Gratz had five tackles on the season.
