According to CSNPhilly.com, John Kruk is set to join the Philadelphia Phillies broadcast booth. He returns to the Phillies, where he was a popular player for the team.

He recently left ESPN after a long tenure to pursue other opportunities. He replaces Matt Stairs, who was recently named the team’s hitting coach.

Kruk will split the 162-game series with Ben Davis. He’ll also be joined in the Phillies broadcast booth with Tom McCarthy and Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt.
