Preview: Colgate @ The Citadel

On Friday afternoon, the Colgate Raiders will face The Citadel Bulldogs. The Raiders are 2-4, while the Bulldogs are 4-3.

The Raiders are 1-4 on the road. The Bulldogs are a perfect 3-0, but this game is being played at McAlister Field House in Charleston, S.C. This game is live on ESPN3 at 2 pm EST and it is a part of the Holy City Hoops Classic.

This is the second meeting between the teams. They haven’t faced each other since Dec. 29, 2000 when the Bulldogs won 86-55.

Colgate comes into this game with a one-game win streak. They haven’t lost since Nov. 26 when they lost 81-78 in overtime to the Columbia Lions.

The Citadel also has a one-game win streak. They haven’t lost since Nov. 23 when they lost 127-110 to the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The Raiders are averaging 69.7 points per game. The Bulldogs are averaging 102.7.

Will Rayman leads Colgate with 13.2 points per game. Malcolm Regisford is averaging 5.5 rebounds and Sean O’Brien is averaging 4.2 assists per contest.

Zane Najdawi leads The Citadel with 18.9 points per contest. He is also leading the team with 8.1 rebounds and Preston Parks leads with 4.7 assists.
