The College Football Playoff committee has made their ruling. They’ve decided that the Penn State Nittany Lions are out of the picture.
Their ruling didn’t change much. They only moved the Clemson Tigers above the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Alabama Crimson Tide are the top seed in the CFP playoffs. They’ll be facing the fourth-seeded Washington Huskies.
The Huskies defeated the Colorado Buffaloes on Friday night to win the Pac-12 Conference Championship.
There is an interesting subplot as Bama assistant coaches Steve Sarkisian and Tosh Lopui will be facing several players they coached at the school.
The Tigers moved up to the second seed, while the Buckeyes fell to third.
