The Idaho Vandals faces the Colorado State Rams in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl at Albertsons Stadium in Boise, Idaho . The game will be live on ESPN at 7 pm EST.
The Vandals are 8-4, while the Rams are 7-5.
Colorado State has played a neutral site game already this season as they faced the Colorado Buffaloes at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, CO on Sept. 2. Idaho did not play a neutral site game during the regular season.
The Vandals were 4-3 on the road, while the Rams were 2-4.
This bowl game will be the fourth meeting between these two teams. They haven’t played each other since Sept. 29, 2010 when the Rams won 36-34.
Idaho won the first two meetings. They initially won 37-34 in Sept. 1992. They won again in Oct. 2009 (31-29).
The Vandals are on a four-game win streak. Idaho hasn’t lost since Oct. 22 when they lost 37-19 to the Appalachian State Mountaineers.
The Rams are also on a two-game win streak. Colorado State hasn’t lost since Nov. 12 when they lost 49-46 to the Air Force Falcons.
Matt Linehan led the Vandals attack with 2,803 passing yards. He has 15 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Aaron Duckworth has 619 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Deon Watson has 555 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Nick Stevens led the Rams attack with 1,491 passing yards. He has 14 touchdowns and three interceptions.
Dalyn Dawkins has 801 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Michael Gallup has 1,164 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
