Bowl preview: Louisiana Tech @ Navy

On Friday afternoon, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs faces No. 25 Navy Midshipmen in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas. The Bulldogs are 8-5, while the Midshipmen are 9-4.

The game will be live on ESPN at 4:30 pm EST at Amon G. Carter Stadium. The game will be played at the home stadium for the TCU Horned Frogs.

This is Navy’s third neutral site game in 2016. They defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at EverBank Field in Jacksonville, Florida in Nov., before losing to the Army Black Knights at M&T Bank Stadium on Dec. 10.

This will be Louisiana Tech’s first neutral site game.

Navy has won the previous two games in this series. However, they haven’t played each other since Sept. 2010 when Navy won 37-23.

On Sept. 12, 2009, Navy also won 32-14.

Louisiana Tech is coming into this game with a two-game losing streak. They haven’t won since defeating the UTSA Roadrunners 63-35 on Nov. 12.

Navy also has a two-game losing streak. They haven’t won since defeating the SMU Mustangs 75-31 on Nov. 26.

Ryan Higgins leads the Bulldogs attack with 4,208 passing yards. He has 37 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Jarred Craft has 1,011 rushing yards and nine touchdowns. Trent Taylor has 1,570 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

Will Worth leads the Midshipmen attack with 1,397 passing yards. He also has eight touchdowns and three interceptions.

Worth also has 1,198 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns. Jamir Tillman has 615 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
