Bowl preview: Hawai’i @Middle Tennessee State

On Saturday night, the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors faced the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders at Aloha Stadium. The game will be live on ESPN at 8 pm EST.

The Rainbow Warriors are 6-7, while the Blue Raiders are 8-4. Hawai’i is 3-4 at home this season, while Middle Tennessee State is 5-2 on the road.

Hawai’i will have the “home field advantage” because they play at Aloha Stadium throughout the year.

This is the second meeting between these two teams. On Sept. 4, 1993, Hawai’i won 35-14.

Hawai’i has won their past two games. They haven’t lost since Nov. 12 when they were beat 52-16 by the Boise State Broncos.

Middle Tennessee State is also on a two-game win streak. They haven’t lost since Nov. 12 when they lost 42-17 to the Marshall Thundering Herd.

Dru Brown leads the Rainbow Warriors attack with 2,214 passing yards. He has 15 touchdowns passes and seven interceptions.

Diocemy Saint Juste has 836 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Marcus Kenny has 1,036 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.

Brent Stockstill leads the Blue Raiders attack with 2,801 passing yards. He has 27 touchdowns passes and five interceptions.

I’Tavius Mathers has 1,504 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns. Richie James has 1,463 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
